素材 (material)：黒柿 (Japanese persimmon tree)
Ordinary persimmon trees, when sawn, have a milky white to light yellowish color.
However, in rare cases, the center of the tree may be black like black (Indian) ink. This is called KUROGAKI.
The probability of KUROGAKI is said to be one in every 10,000 trees, making it extremely valuable and expensive.

2002 learned woodworking at Takayama city
2004 started to work at OAK VILLAGE Co., Ltd. In Takayama city
2009 opened own studio, KOMONO NAKAYA in Fujinomiya city
2010 starts solo exhibitions throughout Japan
Awarded a Prize at the 54th Japan Crafts Exhibition ins 2015.
