古来からの自然塗料である生漆を何度もすりこんでは拭き上げる「拭き漆」という大変手間と根気のいる技法で仕上げております。
The dark brown chestnut tree tray is made by Takashi Matsumoto.
A chestnut tree tray engraved with design and painted with not colored Urushi (lacquer) many times using “Fuki-Urushi” style, Japanese traditional craft work.

1974年 大阪府生まれ
2001年 大阪のアパレル会社での経営管理職を退職
2003年 長野県上松技術専門校・木工科卒業後、指物工房矢澤にて矢澤金太郎氏に師事
2006年 指物工房矢澤を卒業後、岡山県新見市に「松本家具研究所」設立
2008年 第82回 国展 初出品初入選（以後連続入選）
2009年 第83回 国展 工芸部奨励賞受賞
2010年 住居、工房ともに、岡山県倉敷市菰池へ移転
2013年 第87回 国展 会友賞受賞
