Naoki Hanyu starts art activity at his own Atelier in Tokorozawa, Saitama.
He makes lampshades, pans, vases and objects using metal, mainly iron.
Iron has masculine image but his works are delicate and feminine.
His surface treatment makes iron like an antique that was used for long time and also you can enjoy the change of aging.
At first he makes Iron objects and now makes mainly daily items like pans and lampshades.
He says that he wants to make everyday items that can be used for many years.
He does whole process to make items by himself.
His works are warm and friendly so you can enjoy it in you dining or bedroom.
