銅板を一つひとつ叩き出す「鍛金（たんきん）」の技法で器を仕立てる金工作家・青山幸雄氏。
シャープな四方のフォルムに宿る、テクスチャーの対比が美しいモダンな板皿です。
表面一面に広がるのは、冷たくもどこか儚い銀箔のテクスチャー。その繊細な割れ目の隙間から、ベースに塗られた黒漆が静かに顔を覗かせます。上に重ねられた透き漆が奥行きを与え、盛り付けるものを特別に引き立てます。
表のマットな陰影とは対照的に、裏面は吸い込まれるように艶やかな「黒漆（くろうるし）」仕上げ。器を持ち上げた瞬間にハッとするような色気が、手仕事の枠を超えたプロダクトとしての完成度を物語っています。

Metal artist Yukio Aoyama crafts his vessels in Obu, Aichi, using the traditional tankin (forging) technique to hammer out each piece from a single sheet of copper. This modern square plate features a striking contrast of textures set within its sharp, minimalist form.
The top surface is entirely enveloped in a cool, delicate silver leaf. Through its subtle fissures, the base layer of black lacquer quietly peeks through, while an overlay of transparent lacquer adds an exquisite depth that beautifully elevates whatever is placed upon it.
In dramatic contrast to the matte shadows of the front, the reverse side features a deep, lustrous black lacquer finish. The captivating allure revealed the moment the plate is lifted speaks to a level of perfection that transcends mere utility, showcasing true craftsmanship.
