空間に静寂を飾る、残雪のような白。
愛知県常滑市を拠点に、緻密にコントロールされた「結晶釉」を用いて独自の表現を追求する陶芸家、内村宇博氏。彼の手から生まれたこちらの花器は、あえて作為的に釉薬の表情をコントロールし、艶を抑えた「艶消白釉（新シリーズ）」の作品です。
縦に流れるように現れる独特のラインと、幾重にも重なるマットな白のグラデーション。それはまるで、冬の終わりに山肌に残る「残雪」や、静かに流れ落ちる「滝」といった、自然の厳かで美しい情景を想起させます。
結晶釉の技術がもたらす、奥行きのある質感
本来ならきらめきを放つ結晶釉の配合をあえて艶消しへと落とし込むことで、光を優しく吸収するような、静かで奥行きのあるテクスチャーが生み出されました。
触れるとしっとりと手になじむマットな質感。シンプルでありながらも、圧倒的な存在感と力強さを放ちます。
日常のあらゆるシーンを、静かに引き立てる
オブジェとしてただそこに置いておくだけでも、空間全体の空気を凛と引き締めてくれる佇まい。
庭先で摘んだ一輪の野花から、大胆に動きのあるモダンな枝物まで、生ける植物の色や生命力をこれ以上ないほど美しく引き立ててくれます。
和の空間にはもちろん、コンクリートやアイアンを基調としたモダンなインテリア、北欧テイストのシンプルな空間にも、美しく静かに溶け込みます。

【艶消しの器のお取り扱いについて】
光沢のある器に追加加工を施し、摩りガラスのようなマットな質感に仕上げています。
艶消しの器に強い酸のものが触れると白く変色し、定着することがあります。
白くなった場合は、食用油などを刷り込むようにして拭き上げていただくと色味は改善します。
[How to care for matte tableware]
Glossy tableware is given an additional treatment to give it a matte finish like frosted glass.
If matte tableware comes into contact with strong acids, it may turn white and become permanent.
If this happens, you can improve the color by rubbing cooking oil or similar on the surface and wiping it off.

Crystalline glaze is a special glaze in which crystals of zinc silicate form in the glaze during the firing process in the kiln.
The beautiful patterns created by the crystals and the delicate colors created by the combination of glaze and clay is fascinating, but the technique is very difficult.
Crystals are colorless and transparent, but he adds metals to create unique colors.
By using iron-bearing clay, the glaze and the clay create a complex gradation.
Born in Numazu, Shizuoka.
2012 Graduated from Industrial, Interior and Craft Design at Musashino Art University
Moved to Tokoname, Aichi and studied under Ms Chikako Yoshikawa.
2019 Open his own studio.
