奥深い「ミドリ」の陰影。物語を紡ぐフラットな長角の舞台。
愛知県常滑市に工房を構える陶芸家・内村宇博（うちむら たかひろ）氏の手による、モダンな佇まいの長角陶板です。
底知れない色の奥行きは、独自の緻密な手仕事の結晶。鉄分を含む粗めのブレンド土の表面に異なる土をぼかし塗り、さらに釉薬を重ねて焼き上げています。温度コントロールによって偶発的に現れる煌めく結晶と、深く静謐な「ミドリ」のグラデーションが重なり合い、まるで苔むす深い森や、神秘的な鉱物を切り取ったかのような美しさです。
横長の端正なシルエットは、テーブルの上で空間をスマートに引き締める名脇役。お気に入りの和洋菓子を少し離して並べたり、前菜を少しずつ上品に盛り付けたり。フラットな形状を活かして、お香立ての受け皿や、細身のジュエリーを美しく休ませるトレイとしてもインテリアに映えます。
