光の角度で表情を変える、神秘的な結晶の煌めき。食卓をモダンに引き締めるオーバル皿。
愛知県常滑市に工房を構え、独自の美意識を器に落とし込む陶芸家・内村宇博氏。彼の作品の最大の魅力は、独自に研究を重ねた「亜鉛華結晶釉（あえんかけっしょうゆう）」が魅せる、万華鏡のように美しい表情です。
窯の中の温度と時間を緻密に制御することで現れるこの結晶は、まるで器の表面に咲いた一輪の華や、钝く輝く鉱石のよう。幾重にも重なる「アオ」のグラデーションのなかに散りばめられた結晶は、光が当たる角度や見る位置によって刻々とプリズムのようにその煌めきを変化させます。
溶けて流れる釉薬の奥行きと、一つとして同じものがない一期一会の結晶の現れ方。手仕事と炎の偶然がもたらす唯一無二の景色が、この一枚に美しく凝縮されています。
どこかアンティークの佇まいを感じさせるオーバル（楕円）のフォルムは、丸皿が多くなりがちな食卓に心地よいアクセントをもたらす名脇役。エッジの効いたリムの立ち上がりが美しい影を落とし、何気ない普段の料理や焼き菓子を、まるでアートピースのようにドラマチックに引き立ててくれます。
ただそこにあるだけで、空間の空気を凛と変えてしまう。自然の瞬きを切り取ったかのような美しい佇まいの器を、ぜひあなたの暮らしに。

Crystalline glaze is a special glaze in which crystals of zinc silicate form in the glaze during the firing process in the kiln.
